Josh Gallaher, owner of Gallaher Landscaping, his wife Mallary, and their three children reside in New Cumberland. Life-long residents of the West Shore School District, they returned home after graduating from Penn State University to launch Gallaher Landscaping LLC.
An Eagle Scout with Boy Scout Troop 54 in Camp Hill, Penna., Josh earned the prestigious Scouting honor in 2003. “Giving back to the community through service to others is a principle that was modeled for us by our parents and grandparents. And it’s a foundational tenant of the Boy Scouts,” says Josh.
Whether it’s ringing the bell at the Salvation Army Red Kettle campaign, donating time for a church cleanup, or volunteering to help a young Scout on his Eagle project, Josh’s spirit of service is contagious. He also spent five years as a Camp Hill High School wrestling coach serving as both an assistant and head coach of the junior high team.
Each December, you’ll find Gallaher Landscaping team members ringing the bell for The Salvation Army Harrisburg all around Camp Hill and Lemoyne!
We are a proud supporter of West Shore Evangelical Free Church, The Salvation Army Harrisburg Capital City Region, The West Shore Foundation, Penn State THON Dance Marathon (Josh was a former THON dancer at Penn State), The Four Diamonds Foundation, Penn State University Nittany Lion Club, and many local musical, sports, and mini-THON programs.
